Roscongress Foundation Signs over 30 Cooperation Agreements at SPIEF 2021

The Roscongress Foundation signed over 30 cooperation agreements with Russian and foreign organizations and associations on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The documents aim to develop cooperation in the organization of congress and exhibition events (forums, conferences, roundtables, and business meetings) both in Russia and abroad.

“All the agreements that the Roscongress Foundation and our Russian and foreign partners signed on the sidelines of the SPIEF aim to expand partnerships at the national and international levels in order to jointly organize and promote key business events. As a socially oriented non-financial development institution, we are also involved in supporting socially significant projects and helping international foundations and organizations implement significant initiatives,” Roscongress Foundation Chairman of the Board and CEO Alexander Stuglev said.

The Roscongress Foundation agreed to cooperate with four organizations from Qatar, which took part in the SPIEF as a guest country this year: agreements were signed with the Doha Forum, the Qatari Businessmen Association, the Qatari-Russian Centre for Cooperation (QRCC), and the Qatar Financial Centre.

An agreement was also signed to hold the Days of Russia in Bahrain with the country’s Mumtalakat sovereign wealth fund, the Bahrain Economic Development Board, and the Russian Direct Investment Fund.

In an effort to develop cooperation between the Roscongress Foundation and the Russian regions, agreements were signed with the Government of the Novosibirsk Region, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, the Government of the Udmurt Republic (all three jointly with the Association of Lawyers of Russia), the Governments of the Tver and Tyumen Regions, and the Government of the Republic of North Ossetia–Alania.
